The exposition of this specialized exhibition is thought to show advanced ideas and innovative technologies in the sphere of landscape building and architecture.

It is planned that this exhibition project will be held in two stages – in the spring and autumn, each will have conceptual distinctions and the accent directions. So, the first part of the exhibition «the International Landscape Forum – ILF», planned for April, will cover questions of landscape design, floristry and golf industry, and the autumn stage will be devoted to design of winter gardens, light design, New Year's design, innovations and trends of the coming season.

In the new ambitious project of St.-Petersburg Expocentre "Garden City" and Guild of landscape masters the participants should pass competitive selection at authoritative advisory council.

The program of the spring exhibition will be presented by the following directions:

• Landscape designing of garden sites;
• Gardening and accomplishment of city territories;
• Garden sculpture and small architectural forms;
• Garden furniture;
• Art smithing and moulding;
• Game and athletic fields, golf fields;
• Lawns, flower beds, Alpine gardens;
• Fountains, artificial reservoirs;
• Aquadesign;
• Technologies and materials of landscape industry;
•  Floristic design of living and office interiors.

Distinctive feature of the specialized exhibition « International Landscape Forum – ILF» becomes the highly topical business program in which framework will take place shows, contests, master classes.

It is expected that following events will become nice ornament of the program:

• Championship of St.-Petersburg in minigolf, organized by Association of minigolf of St.-Petersburg;
• Show by floral artists;
• Contest «Idea of landscape masters», organized by Guild of landscape masters. In this contest young talented designers from St.-Petersburg will present their works on the theme «Golf in landscape design». It is expected that visitors can gather here ideas for a practical implementation on their country territories, and participants of competition will not only implement the ideas, but also attract attention of potential customers.

Expocentre "Garden City" has a successful location for the event of such a scale like «International Landscape Forum – ILF» in Lahta on the tourist route to Finland. There is an extensive territory here which is built up with cottage settlements, a rest area on the bank of gulf of Finland. These and many other factors suggest that shortly the exhibition will become not simply fashionable for one particular city, but also a world event determining directions in development of landscape design and promoting comfortable and harmonious country life.
