For current seventeen years the carrying out of this Exhibition has become a kind of tradition in which the business component and the specialized exhibitions covering current problems in development of the Russian agriculture, processing and the food industry of Northwest region and St.-Petersburg are organically combined.

Specialized expositions are held within the limits of the exhibition-fair "Agrorus" of annually international forum of agroindustrialists: «From field to counter», «Estate building. Wooden housing construction», "Agroecology", «Fish and seafood», «Salon of independent power systems», «All for garden and vegetable garden», «Chemistry and biotechnologies in agriculture», «Agricultural cars, processing agricultural machinery and equipment».

Among initiators of the forum - Management of gardening and truck farming of St.-Petersburg, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Committee of economic development, the industrial policy and trade of St.-Petersburg, the All-Russia research veterinary institute of poultry farming, Open Society "Lenexpo", the Government of Leningrad region, Association of country (farms) and agricultural co-operatives of Russia (ACCOR).
